FREMONT, Calif., June 16, 2021 – Cytek Biosciences, Inc., a leading cell analysis solutions company, today announced that it has entered into a long-term partnership with CyberFreight Pharma Logistics. Under the terms of the agreement, CyberFreight will store and distribute Cytek’s innovative cell analysis solutions.
Cytek Biosciences is a leading life sciences technology company advancing the next generation of cell analysis tools by delivering high-resolution, high-content and high-sensitivity cell analysis utilizing its patented Full Spectrum Profiling™ (FSP) technology. Cytek’s FSP platform includes its core instruments, the Aurora and Northern Lights systems, reagents, software and services to provide a comprehensive and integrated suite of solutions for its customers. Cytek Biosciences has its headquarters in Fremont, California and opened an office in the Netherlands in 2019.
“When searching for new warehousing in the Netherlands, our goal was to relocate Cytek Biosciences BV’s inventory of instruments, parts and temperature-sensitive reagents to a professional partner with state-of-the-art, GDP certified, temperature-controlled warehousing facilities that could also support our growth ambitions,” said Lars J.T. Droog, director of EMEA Operations for Cytek. “CyberFreight shares the same values and will support us on our mission to continue to deliver high quality solutions for the flow cytometry industry.”
CyberFreight International is a full-service logistics service provider, specializing in the handling and storage of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and equipment. CyberFreight is GDP, ISO9001 and ISO13485 certified, and holds a GDP wholesale license.
The services which CyberFreight will offer include the storage and distribution of Cytek’s flow cytometers, reagents under 2-8 °C and -20 °C, and a set up for spare parts. Distribution of systems across Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be done by means of a white glove delivery.
The new partnership will enable both Cytek and CyberFreight to continue to grow – while maintaining delivery quality at the highest levels. Initial shipments of Cytek inventory will arrive at CyberFreight in early June of this year.
