The New Silk Route
Did you know CyberFreight, next to air- and oceanfreight, also offers railservices from China with the same service levels you are so familiar with?
For us this is quite common, but we received some signals it is not always clear to our customers we offer this service.
The New Silk Route, how this new rail connection is also called, is in use for some years now and sometimes offers a good alternative voor de relative slower ocean freight and the faster, but more expensive airfreight.
In the beginning there was a connection from Changdu to Duisburg germany for full containers only, and then only 40ft containers. But nowadays the connection goes all the way to Tilburg and even offers LCL services.
After departure in Chengdu the train will be in Tilburg in approximately 16 days. Obviously the container has to come from the factory in China first for boarding in Chengdu and eventually from Tilburg to the final destination.
Interested in our options. We will gladly send you our rates for this service.
