GDP Inspection by IGZ
Very unexpectedly, two IGZ inspectors arrived at Cyberfreight on October 7th at 9.00am for an unannounced audit.
It was soon clear this inspection was going to last for the entire day. After all, nothing is left to chance by IGZ.
Details will be left aside, but what could be mentioned is that our premises was almost turned upside down completely.
The findings and conclusions
A small number of minor points for improvement were noted, which of course will be handled quickly and adequately. The conclusion by the IGZ inspectors was, that Cyberfreight is doing a real good job in managing and maintaining its GDP activities, including all workspaces used for these activities.
Special positive remarks were made to the cleanliness and organization of our warehouses and workspaces. The way how this is being managed by Cyberfreight is rarely seen elsewhere by the IGZ inspectors. Extra special as it was an unannounced inspection so no extra efforts were prepared for an upcoming audit. So the compliments were the result of Cyberfreight’s daily routines.
With this audit, our earlier achieved GDP Wholesale license will be complemented with an official GDP certification. This certification is in effect since early 2014 and Cyberfreight is amongst the first, if not the first, logistics service provider, obtaining this certificate.
The management of Cyberfreight is really proud of this achievement and remains committed to stay ‘the Best in Class’ in pharma logistics.
